Major Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Integrate backend systems with telecom protocols such as SMPP, SIP, SS7, Diameter, MAP, CAMEL.
- Develop robust and efficient REST APIs for SMSC, HLR, SMPP ESME, and other core telecom systems.
- Optimize backend systems for high-performance, low-latency, and high-availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product for end-to-end project execution.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex production issues in telecom stacks and backend infrastructure.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Java with hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, and JPA.
- Deep understanding of multithreading, memory management, and real-time systems.
- Experience in designing and maintaining event-driven architectures and message routing systems.
- Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
- Familiarity with network/protocol debugging tools like Wireshark and tcpdump.
- Experience working with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development methodologies.
Good to Have:
- Prior experience with telecom stack development including SMPP, SS7, SIP, Diameter.
- Background in developing SaaS-based applications.
- Exposure to high-throughput messaging and signaling systems.
