Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain Applications:
- Build and maintain modern, secure, and scalable web applications using the Laravel framework.
- Develop and test reusable, efficient PHP modules.
Database Management:
- Design, implement, and maintain relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity.
API Development and Integration:
- Create and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Collaborate with third-party services and APIs.
Code Quality and Testing:
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Perform unit and integration testing using tools like PHPUnit.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality products.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance application performance and user experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Expertise:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PHP development with a strong focus on Laravel.
- Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Solid understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
Database and API Skills:
- Hands-on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus.
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
Testing and Debugging:
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as PHPUnit.
